Stitch of the Week: The Bead Stitch

April 30th, 2017

Hey knitters,

The Bead Stitch is a lovely stitch presented by Lacie Vasquez in Lace & Eyelet. This pattern stitch can be used to create blankets, wraps, vests or sweaters.

The stitch gives the look of strands of lace and beads. This stitch pattern only consists of knit and purl stitches that form this unique pattern. Try this easy knitting stitch to create or design your own garment.

Cast on multiples of 7 stitches. Work a 4 x 4 swatch gauge before knitting any garment. This help to keep the rows and stitches in the correct structure.
