Supplies

4 Skeins in Garnet- Knit Picks Palisade (30% Superfine Alpaca/ 70% Wool; 50 grams / 43 yds) YARN A

1 Skein in Silver 150 - Lion Brand Yarns Festive Fur (80% polyester, 20% metallic polyester; 1.75 oz / 55 yds) YARN B

Size US 10.5, 26"

Crochet Hook - Size J

Magnetic Snap

Directions

Cast on 70 stitches with YARN A. Join to work in the round, being careful not to twist stitches. Place marker on needle to indicate beginning of round.

Round 1: Knit with YARN A.
Round 2: Knit with YARN A.
Rounds 3: Knit with YARN A and YARN B held together.
Round 4 - 6: Knit with YARN A.
Round 7: Knit with YARN A and YARN B held together.
Round 8 - 11: Knit with YARN A.
Round 12: Knit with YARN A and YARN B held together.
Round 13 - 17: Knit with YARN A.
Round 18: Knit with YARN A and YARN B held together.
Round 19 - 24: Knit with YARN A.
Round 25: Knit with YARN A and YARN B held together.
Round 26 - 28: Knit with YARN A.

Round 29: Bind Off 36 stitches using YARN A. Pick up YARN B and Knit the remaining 34 stitches with YARN A and YARN B held together.

Turn work (do not continue working in the round) and continue in Stockinette Stitch for 15 more rows. Bind off.

Using the size J crochet hook and YARN A, work 1 row of single crochet around bottom of purse to seam the bottom. Felt the purse using your preferred method and shape before drying. Once dry, attach the magnetic snap under the purse flap.
