Re: A New Blog Address

Good afternoon! 8-) Not only is it sunny right now...it's even in the low 50's - hooray!! For some reason, it's been incredibly windy for a week now - well, they do say that March "comes in like a lion and out like a lamb". Something tells me the March Lamb will be roaring, too1  I'd ...

Re: Cast on Question

I can't believe no one answered you - so I'll put my 2 cents in!! ;) Honestly, I don't know if there really is a way of telling, or if it's just what your preference is. If I can use the tail for seaming later, I guesstimate how much I'll need. If I won't be seaming, I usually leave my tail about 6 ...

Re: A New Blog Address

Hello, Miss Jennifer Anne - here I am!! :D No, I didn't get stuck in a snow bank - although we sure have plenty of them around still!! Whew, what a winter - not the snowiest on record (although we've definitely had our share), but most definitely the coldest, and the one that generated State-Wide Lo...

Re: A New Blog Address

Hi there! Well, Jennifer Anne, I think you hit the nail on the head - it looks like we're going to have a Roller Coaster Winter. Usually, it's either "cold" or "really cold" - but for the next week or so, they're using words like "frigid" and "arctic". We had ...

Hello, Jennifer Anne -

Just checked it out - looks great, and those quilts and mug rugs are amazing.

Re: A finished fall project!!!!!

If I print out one more pattern, I will be able to wallpaper every room in the house...a few times over!!

No, I didn't see that blog post, but will definitely check it out - thanks for the tip! I did see the one for making your own knitting needles, which is pretty interesting.

Re: A New Blog Address

Happy New Year! Before I pick up my knitting, I thought I'd say hello - and report on the crazy weather here in the East! We had a blizzard on Thurs. night into Fri. afternoon - wind gusts of 45 mph, about a foot of snow, and temps in the single digits...brrrr! The forecast for this week goes someth...

Re: A question about circular knitting needles

Gee, after making such a fuss over your new needles, how did I miss this post??? Oh, what great news! What I also like about circulars is the ability to work on something bigger without cramming the stitches onto straight needles...something I did ALOT of before I heard of circular needles! ...

Re: A finished fall project!!!!!

I forgot to mention in my other post -
Did you see that Circle of Leaves Knit Wreath pattern? So pretty! As soon as I saw it, I thought "That is definitely a Jennifer Ann pattern" :D The set-up of the photograph reminds me of your doily pic on your blog.
