Back

Cast on 58 (64, 70) stitches. Work in K2, P2 ribbing for 4 rows. Continue in Stockinette stitch until piece measures 11″ (12″, 13″). To shape the armholes, BO 2 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows and then BO 1 stitch at the beginning of the next 4 (5, 6) rows. Continue in Stockinette stitch until piece measures 20″ (21″, 22″). Bind off loosely.

Front

Cast on 58 (64, 70) stitches. Work in K2, P2 ribbing for 4 rows. Continue in Stockinette stitch until piece measures 11″ (12″, 13″). To shape the armholes, BO 2 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows and then BO 1 stitch at the beginning of the nest 4 (5, 6) rows. Continue in Stockinette stitch until piece measures 14 1/2″ (15 ½”, 16 ½”). To shape the neck, place a stitch marker at the center of the stitches on the needle. Knit to 4 stitches before the marker, K2tog, K2. Turn work and Purl all stitches. Repeat these 2 rows 10 more times. Bind off loosely. Attach yarn and work the other half of the v neck starting on the neck edge. K2, SSK, K to the end. Turn work and Purl all stitches. Repeat these 2 rows 10 more times. Bind off loosely.

Finishing

Sew the shoulder and side seams together.
